Corona Virus

Corona virus was first discovered in birds in the year of 1937. It was not until 1960's that scientists found the corona virus in human noses. Usually the corona virus is not dangerous and only causes inflammation in the nostrils, sinus, and upper throat. The corona virus gets its name from the latin word "corona" meaning "halo" or "crown." Only recently the World Health Organization (WHO) discovered this new strand of corona virus calling it Sars-Cov-2, which is the new type of corona virus that has caused this pandemic. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has officially named this pandemic COVID-19, which stands for Corona Virus Disease 2019. 

Symptoms to Look for:

Cough

Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

Fever

Chills

Muscle pain

Sore throat

New loss of taste or smell

How to Protect yourself from CORONA VIRUS

Stay Home!Keep a safe distance from other people. 3' - 6' apart.Wash your hands with soap often and at least 20 seconds each time.Disinfect common areas such as door knobs, computers, remotes, light switches, counter tops etc... Cover your coughs and sneezes.Wear protective gear such as masks and gloves when out shopping or around others.
